Miletia is standing on the edge of the reconstructed part of the Southern fortress wall of the town, originally built in XIV century and on top of ancient layers dating back to the foundation of Sozopol as Anthea and Apollonia Pontica in VII century BC. The panoramic alley leading through the Southern Fortress Wall and Tower Architectural and Historic Complex is right in front of us. The Central beach of Sozopol can be accessed by walking 50 meters in the other direction and down a set of stairs near the first tower of the fortress.
